Would you mind my confirming whether you want to track the traffic of your Office 365 public website? If yes, we can use the built-in “Popularity and Search Reports” feature of SharePoint Online by clicking Settings >Site settings > Popularity and Search Reports on the public website.
However, if you cannot see the “Popularity and Search Reports” option on that page, to get the historical report of past hits on the website, you can go through by pasting the following URL after the site: _layouts/15/Reporting.aspx?Category=AnalyticsSite. Then you can see the page like this:
Then you can click the Usage Reports to download this Excel data report.
